Job & Company Description:
The main goal of this position is to lead business analysis within business systems. The key responsibilities include leading the team, enhancing performance and efficiency through process optimization, and development.

Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Guide and mentor the business analysis team to ensure the right approach is taken and evaluate it throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure clear understanding of business needs and requirements
  • Implement strategic thinking to deliver optimal solutions
  • Offer expertise in business process design and documentation, suggesting improvements for processes and systems
  • Provide feedback to enhance the business analysis team's quality
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities, aligning recommendations with strategic objectives
  • Assist in project initiation and scoping
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Report project issues accurately and maintain logs
  • Collaborate with Project Assurance and internal audit teams
  • Conduct project, system, or business assessments
  • Ensure consistency between requirements and ERP implementation
  • Develop training and implementation material for ERP and BI Tools
  • Offer support to Kerridge and Syspro users, provide training for new and existing users
  • Guide the team in documenting finance and trading issues
  • Contribute to QA processes, Service Pack testing, and User Acceptance testing
  • Support Group Finance in financial reporting and IT Audit demands

Education:
  • BCom degree in Information or Business Systems is required
  • Tertiary qualification or course in a finance-related field is beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Essential 5 to 7 years of experience in a business analysis role
  • Essential 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of connecting finance with business systems
  • Essential experience in transactional processing, retail, or warehousing industry
  • Preferable knowledge of Kerridge and Syspro
  • Essential understanding of BI Tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Effective business partnering, business, and financial acumen
  • Keen attention to detail
