The organisation is seeking to appoint responsible drivers onto its permanent employment to drive our buses to transport learners and adults with severe to profound intellectual disability between their homes and our facilities on a daily basis.


  • Valid Code 10 drivers' license with PDP
  • Careful and cautious driving of vehicles and transporting of service users at all times
  • Complete and maintain an accurate vehicle logbook for all trips
  • Ensure vehicles are well maintained, kept clean and receives regular services
  • Perform vehicle checks as required and submit vehicle reports as required
  • Abide by the rules of the road and responsible for all traffic fines incurred
  • Always abide by the organisation's vehicle policy and procedures
  • Report all incidents/accidents immediately to the relevant manager
  • Maintain health and safety practices
  • Ensure vehicles are safely parked at overnight venues and are locked and armed
  • Take responsibility for petrol card and vehicle keys
  • Attend all training required by management
  • Maintain good working relationships with staff, parents and service users
