All the costs:
TB test, IELTS test, Visa fee and flight to the UK will be paid by the employer. Applicant only have to do(pay) for the IELTS test beforehand but is also will be reimbursed.

Penrith-based business is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to support the efficiency of production lines by providing both planned and reactive engineering solutions to ensure mínimal downtime.


Along with a salary of up to £50,167 per annum (depending on experience and hours worked), you will also receive a range of benefits including weekly pay, a pension scheme, and 28 days' holiday, plus bank holidays.


As Multiskilled Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with production shift supervisors and managers to support the identification of potential issues, working to minimise downtime.
  • Supporting in investigating means of improving plant productivity.
  • Liaising with the Engineering Administrator to ensure sufficient stocks of spare parts are available.
  • Adhering to preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules.
  • Liaising with Production Shift Supervisors and Managers to agree and schedule any works required, gaining permission to proceed, ensuring that all required permits are in place prior to commencement of works.
  • Assisting external contractors with installation works as required, providing advice and support as required.
  • Taking responsibility for health and safety of the work environment, ensuring that site safety standards are adhered to at all times, leaving work areas clean, tidy, and safe after any works are completed.
  • Monitoring all machinery and ancillary plant during production, completing relevant paperwork.
  • Rectifying any defects, following process to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Assisting in an operational capacity as required.

We are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer who has the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment after completion of Red Seal Qualification
  • Good level of English language; spoken & written
  • Good communication skills

English Language Qualification:

Level B1/IELTS Certificate for UKVI 4.0 overall and in each of the four skills

  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Diploma and/or trade certificate in meachanical and electrical enigineering

Salary:
From R97,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
