The mechanical technician will be responsible for fault finding and repairs across a wide range of equipment and machinery, these include:

  • Mechanical maintenance on a range of production equipment and machinery.
  • Setting and calibrating machinery instruments.
  • Implementing the maintenance programme and updating maintenance records.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of machines during production.
  • Reduce production downtime.
  • Effective communication on all maintenance related queries.
  • Assist with reliability improvement projects.
  • Utilise Pragma and other systems for generating reliability improvement activities.
  • Report all unsafe conditions to the Production Maintenance Manager and institute corrective action.
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Check electrical and hydraulic systems of machines. to ensure functionality.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
  • Accurately plan change over times between different products.
  • Commute, plan, schedule and manage production volumes appropriately.

From R25,000.00 per month
