- Keeping accurate financial records using office software
- Activities for invoices, expenses, petty cash.
- Monitoring bank accounts and matching payments
- Issuing and checking sales receipts and customer invoices, delivery notes, and supplier invoices.
- Credit control (following up on customers for money owed)
- General office administrative duties, like filing bank statements
- Using office and accounting software like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and potentially more specialized accounting software like Sage.
- Creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions
- Managing accounts receivable and payable
- Reviewing and processing reimbursements
- Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
- Handson experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks, Sage etc.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Timemanagement and organization skills
- Confidentiality
