  • We are moving our development in house and will require a strong Tech Lead to assist the current team to grow our internal Salesforce development team and help grow future talent to ensure optimal delivery.
  • The Salesforce tech stack is:


Front End
  • Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, or Visualforce


 Backend
  • Apex, Triggers, Web Services, REST/SOAP API


 Database
  • Salesforce Objects and Fields
Salesforce Technical Lead Roles & Responsibilities

  • Grow your knowledge on the Salesforce commerce Cloud platform and eventually become an expert in it.
  • Continuously develop your Salesforce knowledge and stay abreast of the latest releases, new features, and functionality
  • Lead largescale eCommerce implementations, utilising Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C, providing both oversight and handson contributions to the technical design, development, document, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration of the Salesforce platform
  • Understand the ins and outs of complex technology environments and know how to optimize solutions for efficiency and simplicity
  • This role would require a strong knowledge base in Java that could be able to read APEX class.
  • Manage the surrounding technologies that may be integrated into Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with product manager, ecommerce, and marketing teams to build, optimise, and support our websites.
  • Provide assessments and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the system
  • You drive quality assurance measures and are responsible for code quality and tool configuration. Perform detailed code reviews and ensure best practices are being followed and technical debt is minimized
  • Lead 3rd party integration efforts required including, but not limited to payment and tax providers, OMS, ERP, WMS, CMS, middleware, etc.
  • Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various backend systems
  • Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.
  • Can identify risks associated with development, included scalability, performance, or security issues.
  • Strong experience with versioncontrolled environments/interfaces
  • Develop Commerce Cloud solutions that support industry leading best practices in technology, features, performance, and scalability
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to eCommerce and the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
  • Understand and utilise Salesforce strategies the technical standards, specifications and policies that are supported within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Qualifications for salesforce technical lead
  • 3+ years of experience in a handson technical leadership position
  • Application development experience with XML, HTTP and SQL
  • Prior development experience in JavaScript, and Java.
  • Experience in leading team in delivering packaged solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration, and should be able to implement the new cartridge for new vendors with SOAP or Rest API calls
  • Experience with objectoriented programming
  • Experience on design Complex Architecture
  • Knowledge on CSS, CSS3, HTML5, ES5 and ES
  • Prior development experience in React, and SQL
  • Beneficial experience:
  • Have a deep understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, customisation, development, and integration into other systems.
  • 1+ years of experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce ecosystems and processes that include endtoend data flows and processing from order management, fulfilment, payments, customer service and other backend systems
  • Developer Certifications with Salesforce cloud
  • Working knowledge of Cross Cloud framework (SFCC and SFMC).
  • Experience in handling at least 1 end to end SFCC development/implementation projects
