Senior Financial Clerk

Our client, a leading payments service provider, has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Financial Clerk / Bookkeeper in their Finance team based at their Head Office in Stellenbosch.
Reporting to the Financial Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for all duties related to financial accounting, including the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data.
Tasks will include maintaining complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets, and liabilities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
***Key performance areas:
- Capturing source data
- Assist with accounting until trial balance
- Preparing reconciliation of accounting records to third party statements
- Fee invoice generation
- Assist with debtors, creditors and monthly reports
- All other tasks related to the role.
Minimum requirements:
- Relevant financial qualification and 1 years' working experience OR 3 years' experience in similar role;
- Knowledge of financial systems (SAGE and Business Central accounting package experience beneficial);
- Excellent computer literacy;
- Previous financial/payments industry experience advantageous
