Financial and Payments Administrator

Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Documents financial transactions by entering account information;
Compiling and processing journal entries;
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information;
Process and perform daily reconciliations of internal financial systems;
Process and perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Analysing and investigating annual and monthly financial accounts.
Administrative tasks associated with the accounting function.
Attend to all queries from internal and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; and
Perform any task that is reasonably requested by the employer.
BCom or equivalent degree
SAIPA articles and SAIPA Professional designation advantageous
Positive attitude
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Creative problem-solving skills.
Strong on MS Office (especially Excel)
Deadline driven and able to manage time
Meticulous and accurate with a strong attention to detail
Strong processing skills
Pastel Evolution Experience advantageous
