Restaurant Leadership & Operations Leadership

  • Motivate and develop the team to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive work environment. Guide and inspire the staff with strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills for unforeseen situations like staff shortages or customer issues.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the owner, offering constructive feedback to enhance staff skills.
  • Efficiently schedule staff for peak hours, manage labor costs, and lead by example during busy periods.
  • Ensure staff use technology for work purposes only, no personal use allowed during work hours.
  • Organize pre-shift meetings, review specials, and oversee equipment maintenance.
  • Be versatile to cover duties of Server, Host, or Bartender when necessary.
  • Handle interpersonal relationships effectively and resolve staff conflicts professionally.

Restaurant Operations

  • Front of House: Supervise guest services, dining areas, reservations, and overall presentation.
  • Provide excellent service, address inquiries promptly, uphold cleanliness standards, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Manage the point-of-sale system and staff proficiency.
  • Ensure all staff is well-trained, dressed appropriately, and groomed.

Back of House

  • Oversee back-of-house operations, manage inventory, create ordering schedules, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in hiring, set schedules, supervise food preparation, and maintain recipe standards.

Financial Management

  • Implement cost-saving strategies, oversee cash flow, and manage funds for daily operations.
  • Compile wages and tips for staff.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Ensure exceptional customer service, handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Develop marketing strategies and ensure compliance with beverage regulations.

Menu Development & Inventory Management

  • Collaborate with the chef on menu creation, manage inventory, and maintain food quality.

Event Management

  • Oversee Giniversity and Corporate events, liaise with suppliers, and assist with event logistics.
  • Provide quotes and correspondence as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for hospitality and excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
  • Ability to work under pressure, strong financial acumen, and attention to detail
