Key Performance Area:

  • Ensure company performance objectives are achieved
  • Coordinate the movement of cargo on behalf of clients
  • Follow operational systems and procedures
  • Develop and maintain working relationships, networks and partnerships that help achieve business goals
  • Control expenses by actively monitoring waste within your control.
  • Ensure best control of costs and transit at all times on all routes
  • Provide positive solutions to all problematic situations
  • Find innovative ways of reducing errors and omissions
  • Understand and exceed client's expectations and requirements
  • Provide innovative, effective solutions to client's needs
  • Ability to foresee problems arising and provide alternatives and solutions proactively
  • Accountable for on time billing to clients
  • Managing clients KPIs / performance on a monthly basis and productivity of own desk
  • Making special arrangements / involving the right level of individual to support on critical shipments.
  • Resolving client and routine queries professionally and timorously
  • Managing costs effectively and carefully.
  • Invoicing out shipment timeously and correctly.
  • Tracking shipments from collection to collection and arrival.
  • Overtime when applicable
  • Team player: provide full support to the team and manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Selfmotivated and deadline driven
  • Matric (essential)
  • Qualification in Logistics an added advantage
  • Min 3year experience in freight forwarding.
  • Take ownership of queries
  • Wellpresented and professionally dressed
  • Requires time management
  • Driving and enforcing company policies
  • Managing own Performance
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Communicate effectively with local colleagues and clients
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Process Driven
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
