Drafting and Design:

  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD.
  • Develop accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications.

3D Modeling:

  • Proficiently use AutoCAD for 3D modeling to represent complex mechanical structures and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with engineers to transform conceptual designs into detailed 3D models.

Detailing and Annotation:

  • Provide detailed annotations, dimensions, and specifications on both 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and comply with industry standards.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to design optimization.

5.

Revision Management:

  • Maintain and update drawings to reflect design changes and revisions.
  • Keep accurate records of version control for all drawings and models.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of own work to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
  • Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure highquality design outputs.

Documentation:

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Mechanical Drafting, CAD Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman with expertise in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor.
  • Proficient in creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with other CAD software.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in drafting
