Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales for their own portfolio
  • Meet own monthly sales targets
  • Weekly prospecting and ensure conversion to sales
  • Sells available advertising time according to the Sales Policy to ensure that income requirements are met and value contributions to clients are ensured and measure
  • Promote long term relationships with existing clients
  • Achieve the agreed upon weekly call rate Product Development and Campaign Management
  • Prepares and documents written proposals and/or presentations used during the sales process
  • Prepare accurate airtime schedules
  • Ensure all booking documentation is completed
  • Source, compile and facilitate all traffic material
  • Prepare completed briefing documents to all stakeholders/ departments
  • Conduct relevant pre call research and planning Manage Data/ Information
  • Ensures briefs to marketing/ programming and production are completed timeously and correctly
  • Provide the Head of Sales Manager with an activity report meetings, sales and pipelines business
  • Uses and interprets media surveys and other marketing tools essential to the sales function
  • Implement and follow work flow processes and procedures Execute Admin Functions
  • Keep an active file on every account on your list
  • Implements and Executes all business with a signed contract and confirmations
  • Check contracts and figures to ensure that the accurate amounts have been booked correctly

Requirements:

  • Experience in media/agency sales (preferably 34 years).
  • Proven track record of sales performance and achievement of revenue targets

Radio Sales: 4 years (preferred)
