Role Overview
The main purpose of the Administrator is to provide administrative and coordination support to and facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and supporting the implementation of the Programme.
Key stakeholders the Administrator will engage with are:
- Delivery Agents
- Tenants
- Service Providers
- Staff
- Sector stakeholders
Requirements:
- A Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field is preferred
- 5 years administrative experience
- 2 years Public Sector experience preferred
- Relevant computer literacy user of the Microsoft Suite with emphasis on MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Grant Officer in implementation of tasks
- Represent the organisation on first contact by responding to communication professionally
- Respond to queries by stakeholders
- Resolving stakeholder queries and complaints by receiving the query or complaint, evaluating the cause, and recommending a solution, and escalating where required.
- Maintain a record of queries and engagements, outlining the date, the nature, steps needed or taken to resolve and status
- See to queries received, sorting, and redirecting correspondence, drafting responses and following up on correspondence daily
- Performing quality control of all documentation being submitted by reviewing all documents, checking for accuracy, relevance, and completeness, returning for amendment, and addressing recurring issues by escalating to the Grant Officer.
- Manage that all documentation is drafted accurately within turnaround time, filed securely within defined standards and confidentiality is maintained on an ongoing basis
- Track routing of documents by creating and maintaining a register of documents received and distributed daily.
- Followup with beneficiaries post grant award

Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
Up to R15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
