Objective of this Role: Your role as a Buyer will revolve around collaborating with suppliers to locate the necessary PPE products for internal and external sales teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Place orders for PPE items, including stock, special buy-ins, and non-stock items
  • Work closely with branders and suppliers
  • Follow up on pending orders and back orders
  • Assist the internal sales team with inquiries about PPE for special buy-in items
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers and branders
  • Handle various administrative duties
  • Contribute to stocktaking processes
  • Assist in scheduling deliveries and collections from branders/suppliers
  • Support general day-to-day operations as needed by the company
  • Prior knowledge of the PPE industry is a plus

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Matric certificate
  • Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English
  • Competent in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and concentrate on crucial matters
