Position Summary:

Responsible and collaborate with SC cross functional teams in South Africa to developing and executing solutions and strategies that enable achievement of the service level and productivity goals to the customers that you service.


Other responsibilities include optimize supply chain operations through standardization and simplification of processes, systems, and ways of working; to proactively engage, develop and support your direct report and indirect resources.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage service level performance, and ability to deep dive for service level improvement.
  • Manage and process all order exceptions & deductions working with various parties (eg. Credit block, Product withdrawal/returns, Distribution shortage/ damaged). Generate/Issue Credit/Debit Note if necessary.
  • Monitor OOS/POOS and work closely with Demand & Supply Planners to ensure on time product availability/POOS communication
  • Monitor Phase in/Phase out with Demand & Supply Planners to ensure ontime clearance without SLOB risk
  • Responsible for inbound and outbound performance, include liaise with Freight Forwarder and 3PL
  • Manage 3PL, accountable for W&D cost, and inventory responsibility.
  • Accountable for SC KPI are meet
  • CFR, W&D cost and managing SOX compliance
  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercial, Marketing, Finance & Controllership, Demand and Supply Planners
  • Identify gaps and solutions to improve our customer supply chain and commercialization efforts.
  • Substitute for Customer Supply Chain Manager. Understand and support the UK and Nordics Customer Supply Chain where necessary.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related
  • 5+ years Business experience with experience in Supply Chain or related field; 2+ years managerial experience.
  • Strong operational management skills and experience of Order to Cash system/ logistics / process across a variety of products and supply sources.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, and ideally having experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Super user of SAP Prime / SAP OTC module or any similar ERP system.
  • Mediumlevel Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills are a requisite
