Reporting to the COO of the BIBC, this position requires an individual who is assertive, self-disciplined, organized; demonstrates excellent communication skills; can demonstrate computer and telephone skills; and; has an understanding of the importance of effective teamwork and understands the importance of confidentiality.

DURATION Permanent (on successful completion of 3-month probation)

BASIC SALARY BAND
Package offered will be based on TCOE, and factors such as experience will be taken into consideration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES
Work Output

  • To receive and redirect telephone calls to the appropriate department and teams in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • To maintain a helpful and confident manner when dealing with service users, visitors and staff in order to promote a caring and professional image of the BIBC
  • To assist clients with enquiries over the telephone.
  • To accurately record any messages taken and forward to appropriate person/department.
  • To have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with all levels of staff, service users and visitors.
