Responsibilities:

Training Needs Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify skill gaps within the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads and HR to understand specific training requirements.

Training Program Development:

  • Design comprehensive training programs to address identified skill gaps.
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia content.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles and best practices into training program design.

Training Coordination and Delivery:

  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring availability of resources and facilities.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars either inperson or virtually.

Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training initiatives.
  • Analyze training metrics and generate reports to track progress and measure impact.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Stay uptodate with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements related to skills development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, accreditation bodies, and certification programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align training initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Build relationships with external training providers, consultants, and educational institutions.
  • Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on training progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in Training and Development or Adult Education is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training evaluation tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as Skills Development Act, BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, etc.
