Job description:

  • Attending to queries logged on helpdesk by branches / endusers
  • Analyzing calls logged to discover underlying issues/trends
  • Diagnosing hardware and software faults
  • Testing and implementing new technologies beneficial to the company
  • Travelling to branches for maintenance / setup of new stores
  • Following up with end users to ensure issues reported have been resolved
  • Maintain point of sale equipment at branches
  • Provide Internal tech support for Head Office and Distribution Centre
  • Supporting the roll out of new Software Applications
  • Active Directory setup and Maintenance
  • Carry out I.T installations, implementations, configuration, roll outs & other technical duties as required
  • Independent, reliable and efficient approach to work

For the particular role we also expect:

  • Flexibility towards working hours, willing to work in a 24/7 oncall schedule

Requirements:

  • A+ / N+ qualification
  • Ability to think out of the box
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, highpressured environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Matric
  • Microsoft operating systems and configurations
  • Own transportation and driver's license
  • Problem solving abilities

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
