About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of our front-end applications, working closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex, reusable, and maintainable React components.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX mockups into high-quality, performant React code.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices.
  • Optimize front-end applications for performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging front-end issues.
  • Work effectively within an agile development methodology.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a developer.
  • In-depth knowledge of core concepts, including JSX, components, state management, and routing.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack and bundlers like Parcel.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API (a plus).
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Bonus points:

  • Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like or Gatsby.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with accessibility best practices.

Contract Details:

  • This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
  • A competitive compensation package will be offered.
