Job Summary:
Our client is a well-known listed fund in the Real Estate sector and boasts a large portfolio across all asset classes, owning and managing over 600 diverse properties throughout SA.
Specifically, they are looking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled Facilities Manager for their valuable Commercial Portfolio in Pretoria.
Reporting to the Commercial Portfolio Manager, your role will be to ensure the assets under your care are maintained and managed to the highest possible standard.
Additionally you will be operationally responsible for the tenants in your buildings, ensuring that the on-site teams reporting to you are working effectively and efficiently.
Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across multiple sites in your portfolio is critical to the role, and you will need to ensure that the buildings are maintained, serviced and ready to let to corporate clients, providing a return on investment.
Not only will you need to provide input to the Leasing and Property Manager, your overview on arrears, working knowledge of utility costs, SLA agreements & services is essential as well as any recommendations to renovations or maintenance.
To be considered for this role you will need a proven track record of at least 3+ years multi-site Building/Facilities Management experience.
Prior management & leadership of on-site teams and contractor management is essential.
If you hold a Fidelity Fund Certificate, this would be advantageous.
