We are recruiting for a qualified and highly motivated International GCSE and A-Levels Humanities : History/Geography Educator.
Position overview:
As the Humanities Educator, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire students in the fields of History/Geography, preparing them for International GCSE and A-levels examinations.
Your deep understanding of historical events and global geographical phenomena will contribute to creating enriching learning experiences for our students.

- Curriculum Delivery**: Design and deliver engaging and studentcentred lessons aligned with the school's curriculum framework, ensuring that the content meets the needs of a diverse student population.
History:
The ideal International GCSE History educator should have a deep comprehension of global historical events and their socio-political significance, along with a proficiency in crafting engaging lesson plans, fostering critical analysis of historical sources, and facilitating insightful discussions on diverse historical viewpoints.
Strong communication abilities, a genuine passion for teaching, and the capacity to instil an appreciation for the intricacies of global history are crucial, complemented by a dedication to guiding students through exam preparation and enhancing their analytical and writing capabilities for success in the International GCSE History examinations.
Geography:
An adept International GCSE Geography educator should possess extensive knowledge of global geographical phenomena and their societal impacts, while effectively integrating diverse case studies to enhance students' understanding of ecosystems, population dynamics, and global challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster critical thinking are also vital for guiding students in analysing geographical data and maps, preparing them comprehensively for the International GCSE Geography examinations.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, managing student behaviour effectively, and promoting mutual respect among students.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Develop appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance to inform instructional planning and meet reporting requirements.
- Individualised Instruction: Identify and address the diverse learning needs and styles of students through differentiated instruction, providing necessary support and challenging opportunities for academic growth.
- Cross-Cultural Competence: Foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive classroom environment, promoting respect, empathy, and understanding among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Parent and Community Engagement: Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, participating in parent-teacher conferences, and collaborating with the community to enhance student learning experiences.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of educational best practices, innovative teaching techniques, and global trends in education, and actively contribute to the professional learning community within the school.
