Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 essential
  • Tertiary Qualification: Degree in Food Science and Technology
  • FSSC22000 certified and trained
  • English First language
  • Minimum of 23 years in an operations / production role.

The Key Functional responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations on site.
  • Ensure production is managed and ensure enough stock on hand to meet demand without having any excess.
  • Oversee production and operations team.
  • Ensure the highest quality is maintained throughout the production process and ensure deadlines met.
  • Responsible for ensuring all raw material levels are maintained.
  • Oversee the fulfillment process to ensure no errors occur.
  • Coordinate local pickups, deliveries and installation with customers and the team.

Stock Management/ Control:_

  • To ensure that orders can be fulfilled it is of utmost importance to ensure that sufficient stock levels are maintained.
  • Monitoring stock levels and replenishing them from production as needed.
  • Responsible for performing stock controls.
  • Oversight of the working schedules of staff, ensure that necessary maintenance is scheduled.
  • Assets are well maintained, clean and in good working order.
  • The work areas are well maintained, neat and clean.
  • Health and safety conscious.

  • Activities are planned and resourced according to plan

People Management:_

  • Hold daily or monthly meetings as required.
  • Human resource related functions, discipline, motivation, wellbeing of employees etc.

Package & Remuneration:

  • R25,000 to R30,000 per month, gross (depending on experience)

Working hours:

  • Standard working hours from 08:00 17:00.
  • But will need to be on standby from time to time on weekends in case of an emergency.

Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Paarl,

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
