Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of their warehouse facility in the food production industry in the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in alignment with the company's policies and strategic objectives.
  • Effectively control the receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Manage costs associated with warehouse activities.
  • Ensure accurate stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
  • Conduct and oversee stock takes to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies as non-conformances.
  • Maintain stock control systems and ensure sufficient stock availability.
  • Minimize scrap and ensure authorization before disposal.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics.
  • Ensure adherence to the OHS Act and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food production industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Practical knowledge of best practices in operations processes.
  • Knowledge of the OHS Act.
