Job Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Maths

Duties:

  • Accurate costing of total job (service and repairs) and handing over to Service Advisor
  • Ensure correct and maximum labour codes are attached
  • Prevent and reduce variances and rejections to avoid false reporting of sales
  • Maintain clocking and reporting disciplines within the workshop to limit debits
  • Justify costing and report on job card
  • Processing and submission of claims within agreed time frame
  • Accurate allocation of oils and consumables Labour sold per Costing Clerk Hrs per job card Rejection Rate
  • Overlap rate Audit findings
  • Ensure all Motorplan contracts are active
  • Identify close to expiry MTP, notify controller and load authorisations accordingly
  • Verify all service customer's details
  • Ensure chassis and engine numbers are checked
  • Ensure customer service history is checked
  • Ensure all extra work required is checked and individually signed for
  • Ensure all active campaigns are carried out
  • Report evidence of unrealistic or habitual claims
  • Ensure additional work identified by technicians to be countersigned by relevant technical person
  • Attend to claim queries timeously and effectively
