Join Our Team as a Business Development Specialist at XYZ Company
- Develop and implement strategies to grow our client base and increase assets under management (AUM) in unit trusts and collective investment schemes.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, financial advisors, and intermediaries to better grasp their requirements and offer customized investment solutions.
- Discover and pursue fresh business prospects by staying updated through market research, networking, and utilizing existing connections.
- Introduce investment options to potential clients, hold product training sessions, and deliver ongoing assistance and education to clients and associates.
- Work together with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a smooth client onboarding process and service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory modifications, and competitors' activities to shape business tactics and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Generate and present routine reports on business progress, client input, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; additional qualifications such as a CFA or CFP are advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or client relationship management specifically within the unit trust/collective investment schemes industry.
- Proven track record in creating and executing business growth plans and meeting sales objectives.
- Thorough understanding of unit trusts, collective investment schemes, and the overall financial services sector.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
