ikejaWireless PTY (LTD) is looking for a
Stock Coordinator to join our team, as we embark on the expansion of our network throughout South Africa.

In taking on this role, you will be joining a talented and passionate team that is intrinsically motivated by the fact that we are a fast-growing internet startup that finds itself in the telecommunications space.

In the role, we are seeking a stock controller to execute a range of duties related to the proactive and efficient monitoring of incoming and outgoing stock.

In taking on this role, you will play a critical role within the supply chain process and ensure the smooth operations of the business.

The Stock Controller role demands that you be exceptionally organized, meticulous, resourceful, hands-on, highly responsible, and are able to take initiative.


Responsibilities of the role (not limited to but including):

  • Sound technical industry knowledge
  • The ability to communicate clearly and timeously both internally and externally stakeholders
  • Effective decisionmaker and creative problemsolving
- reporting findings to the management for resolution

Ability to look at systems' features to increase its operational productivity**:

  • Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a range of goods required as part of ikeja's operations
  • Stock control: the ordering of stock, stock checking, and counting, stock reconciliation, stock salvaging, stock adjustment
  • Take part in managing the ordering system
  • Ensure that quality objectives, price, and delivery deadlines are met
  • Capturing all orders and recording of digital invoices
  • Printing labels and any other relevant documentation
  • Producing reports where necessary (e.g. in/out status report etc.)
  • Delivering on the general administration relating to the stock involved in ikeja's operations
  • Managing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Utilizing software packages that might pertain to the role
  • Executing all tasks in compliance with Ikeja's policies and vision
  • Fully live out the ikeja values and drive the ikeja culture across the business

Requirements for the role:

  • Proven work experience as a Stock Coordinator
  • Expertise in stock control procedures and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of Stock Control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with stock control software and databases
  • A proven experience in multitasking and prioritizing different tasks
  • Prepared to be on standby/work overtime when needed

Bonus points

  • Higher certificate qualification in logistics, supply chain management, project management or business administration
  • Experience with advanced justintime software; as applicable to the role
  • Previous experience in the WISP, networking, or telecommunications space
  • Previous experience in a startup environment
  • Drivers license and own transport
