You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of embroidery projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machines to produce highquality embroidered designs on garments and têxtile products.
  • Set up and prepare embroidery machines, including selecting appropriate threads, needles, and hoops.
  • Load design files onto the embroidery machine and adjust settings for proper alignment and stitch density.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure the embroidery process runs smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency and precision.
  • Collaborate with the design team to review and interpret design specifications and digitise artwork accordingly.
  • Use embroidery software to create digitised designs, ensuring accurate stitch placement and optimal thread usage.
  • Modify and edit existing designs as required, based on customer preferences or technical limitations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of digitised designs and organise them for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of embroidery machines, including routine lubrication and minor repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator, preferably with digitising skills.
  • Proficiency in operating multihead embroidery machines and various embroidery software.
  • Strong understanding of digitising techniques, including stitch types, densities, and underlay.
  • Knowledge of different fabric types and their embroidery requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills to address machine and digitising issues.
  • Ability to interpret design specifications and accurately translate them into digitised artwork.
  • Effective time management skills to meet production deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
