Accounts Receivable Manager

We're your dream finance team

We are currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our fast-paced Finance team based here at Mimecast.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the team focused on credit & collections, to meet targets, goals and objectives
  • Support global collection specialists based locally
  • Maintain own ledger with efficient credit control processes to ensure monthly/quarterly targets are met
  • Liaise with customers, partners and internal teams to ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner including effective resolution of queries
  • Contribute to and communicate on quarterly targets
  • Cash flow forecasting on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Weekly review of the aged debtors listing and dealing with any raised issues
  • Weekly review of potential at risk partners/customers
  • Point of escalation for difficult partners/customers and credit decisions
  • Maintain the local credit policy assisting with credit decisions
  • Meet all reporting requirement deadlines on a regular basis
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls
  • Adhoc project work

You'll need:

  • Team management experience with a track record of motivating and managing a credit control team
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work crossfuntionality and establish strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Possess problem solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (VLookUps and Pivot Tables)
  • Desire to improve current processes to increase efficiency
  • Knowledge of Netsuite/Salesforce systems desirable
