Overview Job Title:

Senior Superintendent – MiningLocation: Northern Cape, South AfricaSummary:Hire Resolve's Client are currently seeking a Senior Superintendent with extensive experience in the mining industry to join our team in the Northern Cape.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, safety leadership, and project management in an underground mining environment.


Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of the mining operation, including production targets, safety standards, cost control, and resource planning.– Provide leadership and guidance to a team of supervisors and operators to ensure the successful execution of mining activities.– Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and suppliers.– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize mining processes and increase productivity.– Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including production data, safety statistics, and budget analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.– A Valid Opencast Blasting Certificate or A Valid Trade Certificate– 2 years experience at a GES Level or Site Manager is essential– A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in underground mining operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.– Experience in managing large-scale mining projects, including budgeting, planning, and execution.– Strong knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and best practices.– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
