Must have an open pit blasting or rock breaking certificate.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an open pit mining environment.
Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience.
Must have proven experience with open pit heavy equipment fleet and open pit operations and mechanical inclined.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination/ Dover as required from the designated mines.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines as determined by the supervisor.
Must possess basic problem solving, basic self-management.
