IT Manager with MCITP or similar required for large organisation in the hospitality sector to manage systems at various sites countrywide.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team to ensure efficient and secure systems at multiple sites countrywide users)
  • Provide developed, designed and tested relevant IT solutions
  • Management of various projects
  • Data integrity and integration
  • Budget management and planning
  • Strategic management
  • Client liaison
  • Network, connectivity, security controls, disaster recovery
  • Hardware and software
  • Application management for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions
  • Oversee user training
  • EXCO report including annual budget preparation, upgrades, expenditure
  • Present IT solutions to clients from time to time e.g. full POS system
  • SLAs with service providers including reviews
  • Systems include: Sage 300, Excel, POS, Cyber security (Alice)
  • HR handling of IT subordinates including hiring, performance, training
  • Report to CFO

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric a MUST
  • MCITP or similar advantageous
  • Hospitality industry IT experience preferred
  • Windows and Microsoft, MS Office, Sage300, Point of Sale, Cyber Security tools, Procurement system (similar to MyMarket)
  • Extensive travel will require own reliable transport and valid driver's license

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
R45 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month

Education:

  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:

  • Hospitality industry IT: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

  • MCITP or similar advantageous
