Requirements:

  • A relevant B degree in built environment (postgraduate
qualification will be advantageous)

  • Eight (8) years' relevant experience within the infrastructure and
planning environment

  • Advanced competency in programme and contract management
  • Extensive policy implementation and development experience
  • A valid Code B driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas

  • Lead and direct the activities associated with high level input into
programme and project planning.

  • Development and/or implementation of multiple high risk, complex
projects/programmes, or major to minor-sized programmes to

effectively meet the service delivery imperatives of the Department

whilst ensuring compliance with the MFMA.

  • Manage the monitoring of and the implementation of projects
under identified facilities management programmes.

  • Plan and implement space management
  • Lead and direct the centralised facilities management tenders and
contracts unit.

  • Oversight, advice and support to all technical and project
management services offered by the branch to the Department.
