Our Client is a group of travel companies that are committed to creating extra special experiences for clients from all over the world.

Destinations include Southern and East Africa as well as Indian Ocean islands. Their main focus is dealing with the high end-clients focusing on leisure, golf and safari travel


They are looking for a Luxury Travel Consultant who will liaise directly with travel agents/tour operators in advising them and developing customised inbound itineraries and route planning for FIT clients and small groups from inception to completion of travel.

You must have extensive product knowledge in terms of South Africa hotels and safari lodges and knowledge of the rest of Southern and East Africa will be beneficial.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Creating and processing of FIT and group quotations and itineraries in Tourplan
  • Liaising with clients (direct and agents) in a professional manner and with the required product knowledge
  • Accuracy throughout the quotation process within Tourplan
  • Ensure travel packs and gifts are received by clients on arrival.
  • Ensure that all service changes and cancellations with suppliers through the documented process is correctly handled to ensure zero unnecessary cancellation costs.
  • Ensure that all client and billing information is correctly captured in the sales and payment process.
  • Ensure that receipt and payment due dates are adhered to during the booking process.


They are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' luxury travel consulting experience within the luxury travel industry.

Salary is negotiable and related to experience. They offer a very good basic, in addition to an attractive commission structure
