"TRS has an urgently opportunity for a DIVE SYSTEM TEHCNICIAN, specializing in Electrical Systems to join our Client's Offshore KHANKENDI Project team based WORLDWIDE."**
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems within dive equipment.
  • Working primarily with underwater life support systems will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of diving apparatus.
  • This position involves a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent / Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably with expertise in diving or similar life support systems.
  • Familiarity with underwater electrical components is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information clearly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical components.
  • Strong problemsolving skills to troubleshoot and address electrical issues effectively.
  • Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET.
  • Mandatory requirement STCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement.
  • Have experience as a Seaman and knowledge of Maritime rules and regulations.
  • Good spoken and written English.
