A well established national retailer is looking to employ an IT Technician / Junior System Administrator to join their Head Office team in Briardene Durban.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network security
- General support of end-user computing for hardware, networking, printing, application, OS
- Set up and preparation of hardware for distribution to users
- Remote User Support
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and macOS
- Ability to install and configure software and hardware
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong analytical and multitasking abilities
- Network cabling installation experience
- Willing to travel/work overtime
- Driver's License
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – (MCSE) or A+/N+
College/University diploma in the field of computer science or any related technical diploma
2+ years' experience.
