The main purpose of this position:
To promote and sell medical products and services to existing and developing markets

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Distribution manager and Senior Supervisor of the Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:

  • Responsible for ensuring that vehicles are loaded correctly as well as check documentation against the load
  • Ensuring the correct products and quantities are delivered to our customers
  • Supervising truck assistants to ensure effective, speedy offloading
  • Required to assist with offloading to ensure timeous deliveries to satisfy our customers
  • Responsible for the crew, truck and its content
  • Ensuring that crew and trucks are clean, neat and tidy at all times
  • To pursue a timeous quick turnaround time for each delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring that all POD's (proof of deliveries) are signed upon delivery of product
  • Responsible for collecting cash or cheques when delivering to cash sale customers and account customers
  • Responsible for ensuring that all GRV's (good received vouchers) are signed and handed in timeously in the event of a customer return
  • Responsible for ensuring that all driver documentation (trip sheets, vehicle inspection reports, vehicle cleaning records) are kept up to date
