To contribute within the foundation in developing, managing, delivering and promoting the programs to provide the required financial reporting and Analytics.


  • To ensure that the Bursary review and selection process is executed in a manner that is responsible, professional, financially sound, participatory and is sensitive to local needs in accordance with the Foundations policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the review and selection process in compliance with the sector criteria, policies, financial guidelines and forecasting requirements of the Foundation.
  • Contribute to the development of the monitoring and evaluation framework, and assist in its implementation including baseline data gathering, monitoring and evaluation strategies, for both financial and nonfinancial aspects.
  • Participate in weekly program meetings with finance department to discuss and address issues related to foundation program implementation.
  • Development and maintenance of the database of recipients, including a tracking system that provides frequent updates on fundflows, reporting requirements, audits, contract deliverables and budget revisions.
  • Prepare budgets for all the Foundation program areas.
  • Evaluate all procurement documents before submission to Finance and liaise with suppliers.
  • Reconcile bursary expense summaries to the accounting records.
  • Reconcile project expenditure with accounting records.
  • Reconcile and analyse student fee statements per university.
  • Prepare payments to universities as per reconciliations.
