  • A numerate honours degree (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, Computer Science) with minimum five years of industry experience
  • Prior experience in Purchasing Management or Supply Chain Management will be a major advantage
  • Proven appetite for delivering Digital & Data products and use cases
  • An inquisitive attitude with the ability to foresee future opportunities and innovations and then translate ideas into specific actions and activities.
  • Excellent team and collaboration skills, a servant leadership mindset.
  • Experience with, or strong eagerness to, learn/adopt Agile ways of working and culture.
  • An open, accepting mindset willing to accept regular feedback and pivot accordingly.
  • Proficiency at MS Office and LIFT tools (PowerBI, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.)

  • HSSE:
  • To effectively manage and minimise HSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:
  • Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirements
o Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies
o That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility
Drive the DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION GOAL of the Procure-to-pay process:

  • To be the Super User for all available Procurement Tools and organising training
  • Providing an assurance that systems and online purchasing platforms for goods and services are accessible to users and adequately meet business requirements
  • Undertake assessment of supplier base, classification of strategic and nonstrategic suppliers, opportunities to enhance or consolidate supplier DB, value of spend / technical complexity etc
  • To be the owner of the Purchasing Supplier database
  • Further the development of automated processes, Power BI reporting, digitalisation of Purchasing processes Improve procurement
  • Integration of new global purchasing requirements (climate change/human rights etc.)
  • Active participation in the FINANCE & IS ROADMAP implementation
  • OPERATIONAL AGILITY
  • Project tracking and improvement on visibility/SLA tenders
  • Propose process improvements to reduce procurement cycle time and improvement of timetomarket thus reducing the number of deviations and total number of EPPs
  • TRAINING and SUPPORT
  • Provide ongoing support to Category Manager on the rules and procedures and system support
  • Provide Category Managers with meaningful data and insights to help them define strategies for their categories
  • Provide general Purchasing training to business once a year and for new comers as part of induction
  • Educate the buyers for them to understand the basic rules
  • GOVERNANCE:
  • Tender Committee and Local Contract Committee coordination, and administration
  • Responsible for Key Priority Controls under Procurement's care
  • Close out ACI and Internal Audit findings with the assistance from Category Managers
  • Ensure that all Purchasing vendors have valid DD's in place and alert Category Managers of upcoming expiry dates and followup

  • The function is the first instance contact for any question related to Procurement rules, categories, organization, or any other specific local topic.
  • It is an anchor for a Procurement Team facing huge staff turnover with limited institutional knowledge
  • It provides a specialised support service to Category Managers and the entire Procurement community
  • It requires a deep understanding of Group, Branch and Local Purchasing rules and procedures a reference point for the team
  • Work closely with TGP Affiliate Support and Procurement Support & Performance (SPA)
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Legal, Internal Control, Compliance; Internal Audit, IS and DDAT teams in particular
