MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 Years' experience in a student finance division at a Higher Education Institution
  • Knowledge of ERP System
  • Good interpersonal as well as sound communication skills
  • Added Advantage: Working knowledge of ITS (Student Debtors Sub System).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurate processing of payments received from debtors.
  • Attend to students' enquiries within 48 hours of queries being received.
  • Process refunds in line with the policies and procedures
  • Adherence to all procedures and policies of the Student Accounts Office
  • Maintain customer service in line with the service charter of the unit.
  • Coaching and mentoring of interns assigned to the unit.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by supervisors.
