Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full Function Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom degree in Accounting and possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proven ability to manage financial operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual results against budgeted figures.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: BCom degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
