Your Role at Impact:

Our company is searching for a Frontend Developer to join the Frontend Enablement Team. This team is dedicated to promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration among frontend engineers, empowering them to create exceptional user experiences. The mission is to offer strong support that enhances the capabilities of frontend engineers by fostering a vibrant community, facilitating upskilling, deploying and managing foundational tools, and setting standards. The Frontend Enablement Team collaborates closely with UX design and product management to ensure alignment across these 3 interconnected roles.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and evolve UI Kits utilizing framework-agnostic and headless UI approaches, as well as Vue and React libraries: CSS, Web Components, headless components, Storybook, unit, and visual testing.
  • Collaborate, support, train, and empower other frontend developers to deliver top-quality, responsive, and engaging user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, product owners, and backend engineers to craft strategies and workflows that drive collective success.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in stack and technology updates and migrations.
  • Design and establish approaches, standards, and tools for all frontend teams in the company.

What You Have:

  • 1+ years of prior experience in frontend engineering.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience and readiness to foster community among frontend engineers, share knowledge, and promote learning.
  • Experience and willingness to conduct workshops, upskilling, and pair programming sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frameworks (Vue or React preferred).
  • Firm grasp of Client-Server architecture.
  • Broad understanding of Web APIs.
  • Experience in developing UI Kits (Storybook) and component-based application architecture.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors, postprocessors, and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Git.
  • Competence in cross-browser development.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
