Employee Engagement Lead – Cape Town

As the Lead Communication Specialist based in Cape Town, you'll play a key role in crafting and delivering exceptional customer experiences, while immersing yourself in the acclaimed TTEC work environment and company culture.


What You'll be Doing:

  • Collaborating with senior leadership to enhance the workplace and implement innovative engagement strategies
  • Managing communication and engagement approaches, evaluating people processes, and identifying potential call center risks
  • Supervising the onboarding process for new hires and organizing engaging events for current staff
  • Providing training across various management levels, suggesting improvements, and overseeing incentive budgets
  • Contributing to team success by developing and executing creative engagement strategies to boost employee retention and enthusiasm

During a Typical Day, You'll:

  • Analyze survey feedback to devise employee engagement and communication plans
  • Lead the onboarding program and ensure operations run smoothly
  • Champion process and policy changes to ensure staff comprehension and compliance
  • Foster team engagement through social media support and collaboration on external awards submissions
  • Cultivate strong relationships with employees and other support teams

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or relevant communications experience
  • Proficiency in reviewing reports and providing support when needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for various internal and external campaigns
  • Ability to grasp financial implications of decisions and proposed strategies
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and deeply passionate about maintaining accuracy
  • Experience in people management and comfortable leading through influence
