Sales Project Management


Manage project programs, within time frames and the definition of its major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes ensuring all projects are managed appropriately within the sphere of control.

Manages the Sales Calendar, program and change requests to ensure delivery.
Prioritise projects for the achievement of sales goals.
Provides leadership in the recommended resolution and/or escalation of issues that may impact project scope, schedule or budget.
Ensures on time delivery with quality of the entire portfolio of Sales projects within for the different functional areas.

Identify and manage delivery risk control process, pursue issue and risk resolution and communicates status and escalations to stakeholders and operational management.

Identify and understand issues and concerns; obtain and compare information from different sources to draw conclusions, develop and evaluate alternatives and solutions, solve problems, and recommend a course of action.

Ensure timeous project delivery.

Project Management Practice
Translating the Sales Strategic medium to short term goals and objectives to align with the Project objectives.

Leads the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all projects and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery.

Facilitates the agreed-upon process that develops plans and prioritisation.
Liaise with the participants/users from time to gauge the progress of the project.
Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to the participants or users where necessary.
Builds and maintains relationships Regional Managers and Divisional Heads and key stakeholders, and acts as a trusted advisor.
Regularly reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve the project management best practices in order to achieve best results

Financial Management
Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.
Monitor Project operational and capital expenses to ensure achievement of cost efficiency and acting to correct any adverse variances.
Develops and manages the project/program budget by executing a high degree of financial discipline across the portfolio of projects.
Develop and track the benefit realization report

Stakeholder Management


Leads regular interactions with the executive sponsor to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome.

Share lessons learned and best practices across projects, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
Request ongoing feedback from participants or users regarding the delivery of the project; promotes effective team work between business

Oversee the Regulatory requirements (online Sales)
Manage the Sales online activities.
Manage that the rendering of the financial services that are conducted in accordance to FAIS.
Manage Compliance of the impacting legislation.
Manage the online sales complaints resolution process.
Oversee the management of the quality assurance process.

6.
Reporting
Reporting to the Sales Executives and various committees providing status and forward-looking recommendation where necessary

FORMAL EDUCATION

  • Degree (FSCA recognised)
  • Relevant project management qualification (Advantage)

TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION

  • Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives
  • Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals
  • 120 credits on NQF level CPD
