SOLAR SALESPERSON

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION


Make Solar (PV) product sales, represents the company brand, manage relationships with customers, serve a key point of contact, from initial lead outreach to when a purchase is ultimately made.


DUTIES:

❑ Sourcing new business by calling potential customers and selling the company's product.
❑ Knowledge of Solar PV Systems.
❑ Sourcing new clients
❑ Following up on leads generated by other departments.
❑ Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
❑ Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
❑ Develop and map sales and marketing opportunities.
❑ Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the sales manager.
❑ Identify customer needs and requirements and ensure after sales follow up with client and report back.

REQUIREMENTS
❑ National Diploma in sales or marketing or equivalent
❑ 1-3 years' experience and a proven track record in sales.
❑ Electrical Experience of at least 3 years
❑ In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations.

COMPETENCIES
❑ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
❑ Be target-oriented and result-driven.
❑ The ability to work within budgets and deadlines.

❑ Good computer literacy skills
- ❑ A team player and able to self-motivate.

❑ Excellent interpersonal skills
