This position reports to the Content Production Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and keeping the team abreast of competitor trends and best practices with regards to communications
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing team to make sure onsite copy works effectively for search engine optimisation purposes
  • Must be able to grasp Marketing and/or Creative briefs, from ATL campaigns to CRM initiatives, and work with the team to craft compelling copy that brings the idea to life across all of Takealot's touchpoints.

Attributes required:

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and a wellstructured thought process
  • Ability to multitask and to meet tight deadlines
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and experience in marshalling crossdepartmental resources towards daily goals and objectives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years working in eCommerce/Elearning/ copywriting /content production and/or related digital communications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in communications, copywriting, English language or related degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience in an ecommerce environment (advantageous)
  • Ability to run projects according to basic project management processes and protocols
  • Experience working with project plans and project management tools, including Asana
  • A high level of attention to detail and great organisational abilities are a prerequisite to succeeding in this role
