Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager for a prestigious client located in the picturesque region of Bela Bela, Limpopo.

This role is perfect for a motivated and passionate individual looking to elevate their career in a 4- or 5-star hotel/lodge environment.


Key Requirements:


Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a fully operational F&B department in a high-end hotel or lodge with a staff complement of at least 30.Tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field is advantageous.

Matric certificate.
Proficiency in English.
Basic financial understanding and advanced knowledge of cost of sales & profit margins.
Familiarity with stock controls and banqueting & conferencing.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to plan and execute promotions and events.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Advanced knowledge of POS, Stock & PMS systems (MICROS & PlusPoint beneficial).Competence in writing detailed weekly and monthly reports.

Superior time management skills and a hands-on approach.
Reliable, ethical, and confidentiality-driven.
Sales-oriented, honest, and passionate about F&B.Capability to manage the F&B department as a business unit.
Experience in staff training and development.
Valid RSA driver's license and ID.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-presented and guest-centric.
Innovative and creative mindset.
Strong relationship-building abilities with staff, guests, the community, and industry agents.
Ability to handle pressure and meet guest needs.
Self-motivated and diligent in meeting deadlines.
Willingness to share knowledge and inspire others.
Adherence to all company practices and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage staff, including training, performance appraisals, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Develop and implement F&B procedures.
Achieve set targets.
Control equipment and stock.
Design and manage shift schedules.
Establish F&B budgets and financial goals.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Handle accounting tasks including cash flow, bank deposits, and general financial statements.
Respond to client inquiries and complaints.
Develop and implement marketing strategies.
Work effectively in a remote location.
Perform shift work as required.

Salary & Benefits:


Negotiable salary based on experience and qualifications.5% Provident Fund (compulsory membership).Medical aid for individual (restricted to Classic Saver or below option on Discovery, voluntary membership).Additional remuneration details to be discussed during interviews or upon request.
