A company specializing in ICT/Project Management talent placements and contracting has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Business Development Consultant in Gauteng.

The Business Development Consultant is accountable for acquiring and growing new business within identified clients and industry sectors, serving as the brand ambassador to target clients. This role focuses on establishing enduring, profitable relationships with clients, always seeking the best solutions tailored to individual needs.

  • Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
  • Requirements:
    • A proven track record in business development and client relationship management in a highly competitive B2B environment
    • 3-5 years' B2B sales experience, preferably within Technology services or a consultative context
    • Experience dealing with C-level executives and managing a complex sales process adeptly
  • Responsibilities:
    • Engage exclusively with C-level executives in large and medium enterprises to elucidate how IT Resourcing and Talent solutions can support their mission-critical ICT objectives
    • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure, transitioning new accounts to the account management team post-deal closure
    • Drive consistent high activity levels to maintain a robust pipeline of potential deals week after week
    • Devise innovative strategies and effectively communicate key business messages to a diverse audience
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of sales methodologies and experience in driving opportunities to revenue realization
    • Proficiency in CRM software, sales management tools, and Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to forecast sales activities and set achievable goals
  • Additional Responsibilities Include:
    • Spearheading new business opportunities in South Africa, targeting decision-makers and key stakeholders
    • Building acquisition strategies with detailed account plans
    • Developing and implementing effective account strategies, including opportunity pipeline management
    • Understanding and nurturing client relationships to deliver valuable growth and opportunities
