We are looking to employ a self-motivated, problem-solving, friendly
Creditor /debtor clerk & admin assistant who is willing to learn and exceed their day-to-day duties.


Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive all invoices/ credit notes from both trade and sundry creditors.
  • Confirm the validity of the tax invoices/ credit notes, ensure that they have been duly approved.
  • Capturing of the tax invoices/ credit notes using the correct general ledger allocation codes.
  • Reconciliation and payment of the company approved creditors.
  • Following up on all queries and keeping the accounts up to date.
  • Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks.
  • Ensure that transactions are processed daily in the system and that they are accurate and complete.
  • Preparing the Invoices for clients.
  • Ensuring client invoices and statements are correct and reconciles back to the POS system.
  • Ensure bank and petty cash transactions are recorded accurately daily and weekly to the correct general ledger codes and other relevant accounts.
  • Allocating of invoices to different branches.
  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Conduct the office administration.
  • Ensure the compliance of administration, finance and policies and procedures.
  • Answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Take clear messages and communicate effectively with customers, clients, team members, and management.
  • Maintaining the filing system and keep it organised.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a creditors/debtor clerk
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with processing petty cash and Bank reconciliations
  • Own transport Essential
  • Financial background would be advantageous.
  • Always keeps the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality.

Salary / Market related
