We are currently looking for Sage colleagues who want to build a stronger sense of belonging for our colleagues, help us bring the brand to life within our environments and help us work towards delivering our future workplace strategy.

The Site Leader position will be carried out in addition to your current duties and will be responsible for on-site comms and engagement activities, create positive colleague experiences aligned with global direction and support the upgrading of the colleague experience within the site they support.

This role will take up 5-15% of your week depending on the size of the site you support - you will also be offered the opportunity to take part in the leadership pathway as part of the leadership academy if successful.


Key Responsibilities

  • Works with the global programme and local MD and squad to enable positive and engaging colleague experiences across the site they support
  • Collaborate and align with other site leads, CSNs, and key communities to execute engagement activities
  • On the ground contact for colleagues for engagement queries, and concerns about the site.
  • Key contact for global teams for execution of comms and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stay informed of comms, activities, and events through your 2 years regional/global sites, YSYN newsletter, Yammer, and information from the internal comms team and Culture & engagement team
  • Understand suppliers and local support framework for onside campaigns/engagement.
  • Actively communicate with colleagues, socialize through internal/external media yammer etc and encourage colleague participation
  • Manage your sites colleague's events calendar ensuring planning, process, governance, and ownership
  • Coordinate between depts/functions/stakeholders and onside facilities manager.
  • Budget planning
  • Manage stakeholders & inform them of key opportunities/barriers timely
  • Challenge with good intentions to break down barriers, eradicate complexity and simplify the process and create great colleague experiences.
Skills & Desired Experience

  • Experience with organizing events/running projects or being in key matrix
  • Employed by Sage for 2 years minimum
  • Confident and bold, act with good intentions always doing the right thing
  • Great relationshipbuilding trust and cohesion across functions
  • Seeks and encourages collaboration
  • Organised and dynamic
  • Proactive with the ability to react and pivot quickly
  • Good awareness of organizational goals, objectives, communities, and values.
  • Capacity and approval to commit to site lead, being in the office 23 days per week
