Job Summary

To Optimize headcount resources to ensure maximum utilization of colleague's time while maintaining a strong structure and foundation that will reflect client centricity, in line with Absa's Strategy

Job Description:

Outputs to deliver this accountability:

  • Contribute to a culture conductive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Absa's culture building initiatives
  • Support and encourage staff to participate and support corporate responsibility initiative
  • Achieve operational excellence by supporting the implementation of business optimization improvement through team engagement. Encourage teams to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge
  • Analyze headcount for increased productivity to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Mentor and coach staff on identified performance gaps by discussing these performance gaps and agree on appropriate action to be taken
  • Optimize headcount full time equivalent through refreshed calculations to ensure correct capacity in all different areas of the business
  • Create monthly strategic reports for Managers and Executives and make recommendations on improved operational practices
  • Attend monthly Manco meetings and present Workforce performance and sustainability metrics
  • Guide and assess multiskilling strategy and targets and measure the performance of plan vs actual
  • Support Leaders with forecasting of business volumes
  • Support Leaders in performance discussions
  • Facilitate/Support weekly Workforce Meetings

Education and Experience Required:

  • Matric/Grade 12/ National Senior Certificate
  • Advance Diploma/National 1st Degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to synthesize the team's info into recommendations presented to Stakeholders, and deliver oral and written reports to the Leadership team
